Charm Tests for the Cosmetics Industry
The aim of sanitation and hygiene measures in Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) for the Cosmetics industry is to reduce and/or eliminate potential sources of contamination and cross-contact from areas where product quality maybe at risk. Charm’s ATP-based PocketSwab program strengthens cGMPs by providing instant assessment of the hygienic status of surfaces, water quality and environmental areas. On the same Charm ATP instrument, Charm offers the most sensitive ATP water-quality test − WaterGiene. When a filtration step is added, the same WaterGiene swab can also be used to meet strict sensitivity requirements for testing rinse water.

AllerGiene
Charm AllerGiene is an ATP-based allergen control test designed to prevent cross-contact from allergenic food soil on process equipment. It measures ATP (adenosine triphosphate) at low levels as an indicator for the presence of food on wet-cleaned surfaces or rinse waters. By achieving a higher level of “clean”, better management of allergen control programs is achieved.
